Seroque, belongs to a series of neuroleptics known as "atypical antipsychotics," which have, over the last four decades, become increasingly popular alternatives to "typical antipsychotics." An abstract from a study on atypical antipsychotic medications reported that Seroquel users had a higher rate of diabetes than patients taking older medications.
